Three persons are looking down the valley at the monastery of Xirakia, on the mountains of the prefecture of Valtos. I have written about this monastery last year, when I presented another photo I took there<\/a>. This year, I visited the place again and as it can be seen in the photo, moisture and haze, in addition to the position of the sun in the sky, did not provide the ideal conditions for capturing the landscape. The good thing was that there were many people there, so my attention was drawn towards that subject.
\nThese three people were looking down the valley and obviously were discussing which villages are located in that area and what other destinations can be reached from there. I chose this photo because it is a street-like shot which also combines elements of landscape photography, without distracting from the main subject. <\/p>\n
